Rhovanion Bed and Breakfast Booking Policy
The following conditions form part of your booking with Rhovanion and you should therefore read them carefully. By booking with Rhovanion you confirm that you understand and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Your contract is with Rhovanion and is subject to the booking terms and conditions of contract outlined below.
- BOOKING PROCEDURE
Payment by Credit or Debit Card - you must provide us with your card details which will act as a guarantee to secure the booking and will be charged immediately with the deposit amount. The person who completes the booking form must be over 18 years of age and is responsible for ensuring full payment for the entire party. They are also responsible for keeping other members of the party informed as to the booking details. The booking is confirmed once an email or postal booking confirmation has been sent to you. It is advisable to retain the confirmation for your records.
- PAYMENT SECURITY
It is important for you to know that whenever you provide us with personal details or credit card information via the internet, it is secure. Your credit card number, name, address, and telephone number are protected by powerful Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology as it travels through the internet.
- BOOKING CONFIRMATION
The Booking Confirmation clearly states what is covered in the rate quoted and you accept that additional charges incurred will be at your expense. You should not assume you have a valid booking with Rhovanion until you have received our confirmation. Cancellation of a booking will immediately invalidate the confirmation but not the remainder of our terms and conditions.
- CHANGES BY YOU
If you wish to change your booking after it has been confirmed please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to assist but cannot guarantee to meet such requests. Cancellation charges (minimum £10) will apply.
- CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY US
We reserve the right to make changes or cancellations after the booking at any time, although we will endeavour not to make a major change or cancel the booking within 72 hours of the arrival date, except by reason of force majeure (see below). If we have to make a major change to your arrangements after booking we will offer you the option of accepting the change or cancelling the booking and receiving a full refund of any monies paid to us - that is the limit of our liability. We do not accept responsibility for any expenses or costs or any other form of consequential loss you may incur as a result of any change.
- FORCE MAJEURE
We do not accept liability or pay compensation for any loss, damage or expense where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations is prevented or affected by reason of force majeure. Force Majeure means any event which we or the supplier of any service could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid such as war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, closure of airports or ports, technical problems with transport, governmental action and all other similar events we consider to be beyond our control.
- OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
We are not responsible for any acts or omissions of our employees, agents, and suppliers in so far as the law allows.
Please note that the maximum amount we may have to pay you for any and all claims or parts of claims is limited to the price (excluding administration and cancellation fees) paid by or on behalf of the person(s) affected in total.
It is a condition of your contract that all claims are notified to us in writing and acknowledged by us in writing prior to checkout.
- NON-ARRIVAL AT RHOVANION
Your credit or debit card details, given at time of booking, will guarantee your room. Your room will be available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival with the latest check in at 10.00 pm. Should you fail to arrive at all on the arrival date the entire booking will be cancelled for the whole party. The room will not be available on any subsequent nights of the booking and your credit or debit card will be charged for the cost of the whole booking for the whole party. We reserve the right to preauthorise any debit or credit card transaction at our discretion without notice and you authorise us to do so. Reimbursement for unused accommodation cannot be made unless we are able to rebook the accommodation and will be subject to deduction of an administration fee.
- MEDICAL PROBLEMS
If you have any medical problems or disability which may affect your stay you must advise us before booking giving full details. Your booking may be declined or cancelled in your best interests if we feel unable to properly accommodate your particular needs.
- ROOM PREFERENCES AND TYPES
Please pay special attention to the room description at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that the room(s) booked will be suitable for their party before making their booking.
Please note that all rooms have a maximum occupancy of two persons, this cannot be increased under any circumstances. Please check during the booking process for any additional supplements, for example, single occupancy of a room.
