There's a lot to see and do in the Scottish Borders.
Eyemouth - historic fishing port just a few miles from Coldingham. A lot of information can be found at the Eyemouth web site.
Belhaven Brewery - if you like the beer the brewery is about 30 minutes away in Dunbar. You can book tickets on line at Rhovanion.
Museum of Flight - about 35 minutes from Rhovanion by car and home to one of the remaining Concorde and other famous aircraft not to be found anywhere else.
Scottish Seabird Centre - about 35 minutes from Rhovanion by car and a superb day out. A couple of miles from the Museum of Flight
Coldstream - about 25 miles south of Coldingham and famous as the home of The Coldstream Guards together with a lot of historical interest.
Bamburgh Castle - about 30 miles south, sitting on the Northumberland Coast. There is an Aviation Artifacts Museum well worth a visit.
Paxton House - about 30 minutes from Rhovanion by car, one of the finest examples of an 18th century Palladian House in the Country. The house features a large collection of original Chippendale furniture.
Alnwick Castle - about an hour from Rhovanion by car, Alnwick Castle is the second largest inhabited castle in England, the first being Windsor Castle. The Castle appears in the history books soon after 1096 when Yves de Vescy became Baron of Alnwick and erected the earliest parts of the Castle.
Duns - home to the Jim Clark Museum - about 30 minutes from Rhovanion by car.
